The attention to detail in the rooms, especially with the balcony overlooking the beautiful woods, was truly impressive. The location couldn't be better, as it is reasonably close to the town centre and just a short walk away from the ski lift. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the delicious breakfast that was served every morning.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find any significant areas for improvement.

Located in a quiet street, a few minutes’ walk from the centre, this family-run hotel is a perfect choice to explore the amazing Harz mountains. The rooms are clean and comfy and the breakfast is really great. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the sauna is a nice touch. the area is surrounded by plenty of good eating places.
Sadly, the restaurant and bar were both closed during my stay, even though they were advertised. This was a bit of a let-down, but the fridge was well stocked, and there were plenty of options to dine out nearby.

Nestled in a tranquil and verdant area, this family, run hotel is the ideal lodging for budget, friendly travelers who want to explore the breathtaking mountain trails of Germany. the convenient location, within walking distance from the charming town centre and ski lift, allowed me to fully immerse myself in the serene surroundings. the clean and spacious rooms, complete with comfortable beds and well, functioning bathroom facilities, provided a comfortable escape after a long day of exploring.
While some of the furnishings are showing their age, this hotel’s rustic charm adds to its cozy appeal.

We celebrated the new year at a lovely hotel that offered amazing breakfast. the location was perfect as we were able to walk to various attractions in the area.
The room had a strange odor and there were issues with the shower. we experienced a ceiling leak in the middle of the night, which was not ideal.
